Quinn Spin

I have started a new blog called "Quinn Spin" at http://www.quinn-spin.blogspot.com/. It's a way for me to document things that I feel God is teaching me as I go through life as a wife, mother, woman, and friend. He uses all parts of my life to show me who he is and who he wants me to be. I hope it touches your heart in some way.

Quilt for baby Zozo!

I just finished this quilt for Brent and Shannon's little girl, Zoe. It's the "Diamonds" pattern out of Kaffe Fassett's book Kaleidoscope of Quilts. The fabric is also his fabric, all from the "paperweight" and "roman glass" lines. It was very fun to make. It's the first one where a lot of the corners actually match up!

The backing fabric is called "Carnival Bloom" by Michael Miller. He has some really fun fabrics.

I made a quilt for Stella before she was born. It was my first quilt ever. But looking back it's just not as fun as this one. I hope she doesn't feel robbed.

First Day of School!

Aubry's and Grey's first day at school! Here they are in the front yard with their backpacks. Grey's is clearly too big but he loves it and wants to use it. Aubry got hers for her birthday from Aunt Rachel and LOVES it. She didn't want to take it off to get into the car!

Visit to Grammy's in California

We went to CA this past weekend to go to Grandma Lil's 80th birthday party! She really loved having her family and friends with her to celebrate. And we had a good time seeing relatives we haven't seen in a long time.

Who is that handsome boy with those lovely ladies??? Sis Paula, nephew Leo (who is just turning 7 months old) and niece Kari, who is due with baby Fallon in December. She's one cute pregnant lady!
