Sweet Berry Farm

We went to a local farm that had pumpkins everywhere and fun things for the kids.

Grey and Aidan making kissy faces together.

Aubry and the tractor, she's not quite ready to drive is she?

Everyone wanted to sit in the pumpkin truck.

There were some very friendly goats...

...and horsies.

Grey, Aidan, Aubry, Heather and Julia on the hayride, which ended up being a dust storm. We all had brown boogers for the rest of the day.

Hand in hand, a fun day at the pumpkin farm comes to an end.

Slumber Party with the Leigh's

We spent one night with Monica and her boys in MD before we left VA on our last trip home. Grey, Caspian and Cooper had a lot of fun playing together while Aubry did her own thing.
Caspian and Grey making funny faces together.

Fungus and Troll

Co-ed bathtime!

Poor Aubry got kicked out!

Here marks the Caspian/Cooper obsession with the electric toothbrushes... I think Caspian might want to be a dentist.

Grey's turn.

We're family, right?

Caspian reads a book to Grey.

Slumber Party!

"Froggie Gets Dressed" and then it's lights out!

or maybe it's party in the crib time...

At the park the next day... Chucka helping Caspian.

static-head from the slide

Caspian, too!

Aubry was running away so I had to grab her.

Weekend at Uncle B's

Zoe, now 4 months old and VERY smiley =)

Stella has a slight shoe obsession; she is now 19 months old.

Daddy and Aubry on the swing at the local elementary school...

...performing mommy-unapproved stunts.

Now Stella has the right idea.

Rather Large Centipede

Seriously, have you ever seen a bigger insect? Rather, poisonous scolopendromorpha?!? Imagine sitting on your living room floor, WHERE YOUR SMALL CHILDREN PLAY EVERYDAY, cutting fabric for a domestic homemaker-type of project (hence the rulers) when this thing crawls across the floor in front of you! My first thought was to grab the camera. Don't worry, the kids were MIA. My second thought was, "I gotta catch this thing!" So I threw a large serving bowl over it. When Geoff came home and lifted the bowl it was gone! He found it though and then Geoff, in all of his manly glory, killed it =)

Trip to Virginia

The kids and I went to VA at the end of September to visit with as many friends and family as we could.

My chica-friends from the area came to my dad's house to have a mega-playdate with all of the kids. Pam E, Sierra, Carlita, Moi, Carrie and Monker.

Carrie and her baby girl, Joy, Sierra and her namesake, Aubry.

Malia!!!

Grey and his great-grandma Nilda sharing a breakfast of eggs and toast.

I will put my kids anywhere for a good shot.

Grey is such a good sport.

Don't ask.

I always wondered what the under-side of Malia's tongue looked like!

They could be siblings...

Pop Pop is passing on his chess skills to his grand chirren.
Nilda, Grey, Malia, Aubry and Pop Pop

Pop Pop and his biggest fans. That includes Malia, she is hiding behind the chair.

Aubry loved snuggling with her Pop Pop. She liked calling him "Dada," too =)

Aubry and Pop Pop feeding the neighbor horsie.

Aubry feeding herself.

Malia and "Mason." Sam would be proud of his baby girl.

The kids eating the horse's carrots. They're so greedy.

Nice horsie...
